If you are interested in applying for a summer position at the Greenwood Club,  please download and print the employment application form and mail it to the address indicated on the application. Applicants may need to complete a CORI check as well.

Job Descriptions

Lifeguard

Applicants 16 years of age or older who have or will have completed Red Cross Lifeguard training by May 1st. Lifeguards must be proficient swimmers.  As a member of the Greenwood staff, you will be also be asked to help with various jobs around the club. We all work together to make Greenwood a safe, comfortable and fun place. Hours and pay vary.

Swim Instructor

Applicants 16 years or older who have completed Red Cross Lifeguard Training by May 1st will be considered for the position. It is a plus to have completed the Red Cross Water Safety Instruction (WSI) course. Most of the lessons are held in the mornings.  In addition, you will assist with swim team practices. Swim instructors can also be hired as life guards.  Hours and pay vary. 

Tennis Instructor

Tennis Staff instructors are college-age and older individuals (high school students will be considered too) with extensive tennis playing experience at either the high school and/or college level. Teaching experience is preferred. We are looking for outgoing, encouraging, and energetic individuals to coach both children and adults in Greenwood's fun spirited community. Hours and pay vary.

Maintenance

Maintenance staff, aged 15 or older (or 14 with working papers), are responsible for cleaning, upkeep and overall maintenance of Greenwood buildings.  In addition to cleaning all public spaces, maintenance staff maintain the lawn, flower beds and vacuum the pool on a weekly basis.  Hours will vary.
